A fun and festive autumnal cheese board centerpiece made with Boursin cheese and grated orange cheese to shape it like a pumpkin. This dish is perfect for sharing with friends over wine. Enjoy making this simple yet impressive cheese creation!
Take a little sheet of plastic wrap, sprinkle it liberally with finely grated Red Leicester or some orange cheddar cheese.
Unwrap two blocks of Boursin cheese and stack them on top of one another.
Place on top of the cheese lined plastic wrap and gently press down to make the cheese tower a bit wider like a pumpkin.
Cover the tops and sides of the Boursin cheese with more grated orange cheese until the white patches are covered, and wrap up tightly with the plastic wrap.
Squish into a pumpkin-y shape once wrapped.
Cut 4 pieces of butchers twine or dental floss and tie the string around the round of cheese, tying the knots at the top with enough pressure so the string creates an indent on the soft cheese.
Once the four strings have been tied (crossing over one another), the pumpkin should have 8 segments.
Fridge for at least 2 hours.
Cut string away, remove plastic wrap and top with the stem of a bell pepper.
