Crack™️

1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a large baking tray with nonstick parchment paper.

2: Place crackers in a single layer over parchment to line the entire base of the baking tray.

3: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine butter and brown sugar. Bring to a boil and boil gently for 4 minutes, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened.

4: Pour caramel on top of crackers and spread with an offset spatula to coat evenly.

5: Bake for 6-7 minutes until bubbles are forming on top of the caramel, then remove and turn off the oven.

6: Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the top and put the tray back in the warm oven for a couple of minutes to melt the chocolate.

7: Spread the melted chocolate with an offset spatula to form an even layer. Sprinkle with your choice of toppings and press them into the chocolate.

8: Sprinkle on some Maldon sea salt.

9: Chill in refrigerator for at least half an hour, or until chocolate is set. Break into pieces and store sealed in the refrigerator.
