Delicious salted caramel cornflake nests made with cornflakes, sugar, salted butter, and condensed milk. These sweet treats are shaped into nests and topped with chocolate mini eggs, perfect for Easter celebrations.
In a large heavy-bottomed pot over medium-high heat, melt sugar until completely liquid and a deep amber color, stirring regularly with a wooden spoon.
Once sugar is liquid, add the butter and stir until completely combined.
Turn down the heat to low, add the tins of condensed milk, and stir to combine.
Add the flaky sea salt and cornflakes, mixing until evenly coated.
Remove from heat and let cool for at least 20 minutes.
Once cool enough to handle, use gloves or dampened hands to shape the mixture into 80g balls.
Press fingers into the center and sides to shape into nests.
Place in cupcake cases, top with mini chocolate eggs, and store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
